Amelia Walsh debuted her first collection on the local Arizona fashion scene in November 2008 with her women’s wear line “RAW”. However, Amelia’s affair with fashion started well before then and rather young as she learned how to sew quickly from observing her mother who designed and made wedding gowns.

Over time Amelia’s fashion fling turned more into an obsession, she received her Associates degree in Fashion Design from Phoenix College and is continuing her education through the online program with the Academy of Art University. But don’t let the student title fool you. Amelia has experience beginning long before her college years and always takes every opportunity she can to grow more into this fast paced industry. Amelia believes that clothes need to serve a purpose larger then just function.

“Everything should have elegance!” Amelia states as she explains that you shouldn’t lose elegance and sophistication for convenience and comfort, but you should be able to find pieces that make all those characteristics work together. Amelia strives for creativity, elegance, and practicality in every creation she makes in hopes to someday be a fashion household name.
