Katie Miller

Katie Miller is an Arizona native, born and raised in small town Arizona. She moved to the Valley of the Sun for college where she studied biomedical engineering. She and her husband live in Mesa, where she works for a local medical device manufacturer.

Her love for art is genetic, having talented artists on both her mother and father's side of the family. She has explored many different mediums, including oil and acrylic paint, ceramics, and glass fusing and slumping, where she found her creative calling.

“For me, working with glass is a fascinating process. It mixes two of my passions in life - science and art. “

On The Side Studios was started in 2010 as a way for the artist, Katie Miller, to share her passion for art with others. Each piece of her glass art is one-of-a-kind, and lovingly handcrafted.
