Interior designer turns fashion accessory designer. After 30 years in the custom drapery business and an avid traditional tapestry rug hooker, Sharon decided to turn her creativity and love of textiles into her "Carpet Bags". Hooked on burlap from her stash of reclaimed silk fabrics, vintage ribbons, and trims, these unique, one of a kind handbags have become a hit. Embellished with handmade flowers, petals, and leaves, each one takes on its own unique personality with no two ever being alike.

A bit of Sharons personality goes into each of these artsy, fun, and elegant bags along with her desire to reuse, and reclaim natural textiles and other materials that would normally end up as landfill. These bags make an entrance of their own either for a special occasion or to spice up casual attire.

Raised in the midwest, Sharon now calls Scottsdale, Az home. Since introducing her "Carpet Bags" a year ago, Sharon has expanded her line to include scarves, hats, and a fabulous line of jewelry primarily composed of silk and natural textiles. She also does custom work for special occasions or any occasion. Sharons goal is to make each piece as individual as the person who wears it. A treasure for years to come.
